Projects

Airfreight into Mogadishu Somalia 2011

Seafreight into Mogadishu Somalia 2012

The South Africa Government Pledged to Handle all the Humanitarian Aid to Somalia from all the SADC countries, without specific knowledge of the actually locations and quantities of goods.

We had to have a team tasked to communicate with the various governments from Angola, Namibia, Botswana & Mozambique to co-ordinate their pledges and arrange for the Logisitcs to transport via. road, ship & airfreight  goods from various locations into Somalia. We had to also warehouse & repackage the goods as well as label all shipments on behalf of SADC. We had to also engage with WFP & UNHRC to receive the goods as we needed to ensure that they also had the funding available to receive and distribute the pledges.
